Ceramic Installation
The installation consists of both real and cast raku-fired ceramic quail eggs. The work reflects on the unique qualities of life and the subtle similarities that connect all living beings.
Each egg, though similar in form, carries its own individual pattern and texture — a reminder of the diversity that exists within unity. The use of real and cast forms blurs the line between the natural and the created, inviting reflection on authenticity, imitation, and the essence of life itself.
Through the raku firing process, with its unpredictable and organic results, the installation celebrates imperfection and individuality while emphasizing the shared fragility that binds us all.
