An audio-visual installation displayed in an old post-German villa in the Karkonosze Mountains.
The work refers to permanent belonging to places. Casted porcelain shoes are modelled after a shoe that was found in one of the old local buildings, as many of the remains after the German people, who had to leave their homes rapidly after the Second World War as the boarders of the countries were moved.
Two traditional lullabies overlapping with each other, one Polish and one German. There is a story of a little girl who cannot live without wearing her shoes... but what if one is broken, what if one is gone...
